Chadwick Property Valuers are assisting the Valuer General with determination assessments for central Sydney CBD properties that have been compulsory acquired as part of the Sydney West Metro project, gazettal date 2 September 2022.

The Sydney Metro West project will support a growing city and deliver world-class metro services to more communities. This new underground railway will connect Greater Parramatta and the Sydney CBD.

Sydney Metro West is a new 24-kilometre metro line with stations confirmed at Westmead, Parramatta, Sydney Olympic Park, North Strathfield, Burwood North, Five Dock, The Bays, Pyrmont and Hunter Street in the Sydney CBD. Construction commenced on Sydney Metro West in 2020.

Hunter Street Station will be a landmark station in the commercial heart of the Sydney CBD, unlocking connections and economic opportunities with Greater Parramatta. Over station development is being considered within the metro station precinct and will be subject to a separate planning approval including community and stakeholder engagement.
