Edge Expands in the ACT

Edge Early Learning Child Care have successfully acquired three childcare centres within the ACT, marking their entry into the state.

The three centres located at Ngunnawal, Charnwood and Higgins were acquired as of 1 August 2022 and have a combined 451 places.

The acquisitions marks Edge’s 50 th centre in operate – 30 in Queensland, 17 is South Australia and the remaining 3 in the ACT – with plans to open additional centres within the ACT in the near future.

Across the three states, Edge now provides child care services to in excess of 12,000 children and provides employment for more than 1,500 staff.

The aforementioned expansion has been driven by additional equity provided by Australian based investment fund ‘HEAL Partners’, whose main focus is in the health and education sectors.
