Discovery Parks
Discovery Parks announced the acquisition of ‘Top Parks’ for a reported $25 million. Top Parks comprises a membership group and has 160 affiliated parks throughout Australia. Whilst the affiliated parks are privately owned, the acquisition is considered to offer strategic benefits to both parties.
Boyuan Holdings
Boyuan Holdings, a listed developer with parent company in China, confirmed settlement of the acquisition of the Broadland Gardens portfolio from the Virgona family. The acquisition included four assets, two MHE’s and two proposed GMHE assets for a total portfolio price of $63 million. Shortly after, Boyuan announced the acquisition of the Armidale Tourist Park for $7.4 million.
Aspen Group
Aspen Group have announced the acquisition of ‘Free Spirit Resort Darwin’ for $19.5 million. The park comprises a total of 430 sites (including 149 cabins), three resort pools and licenced restaurant/conference centre.
Ingenia Communities
Ingenia Communities have successfully undertaken a $74 million capital raising to acquire an additional five assets. These assets comprised two Brisbane MHE’s, a Mid-North Coast Holiday Park, a MUCP park in Queensland and a GMHE in New South Wales. Prior to this, Ingenia announced the acquisition of the multi-award winning ‘Cairns Coconut’ holiday park for $50 million.
